Dr. Maria Vardanyan, M.D., is a distinguished ophthalmologist whose professional career reflects longstanding dedication to clinical excellence, continuous advancement, and specialized service in vitreoretinal medicine and surgery. With many years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, she is recognized for her commitment to patient care, ongoing professional development, and meaningful engagement in both national and international ophthalmic education.

Since 2009, Dr. Vardanyan has served as an Ophthalmologist in the Department of Vitreo-retinal Surgery at the S. V. Malayan Eye Center, one of Armenia's leading ophthalmic institutions. Through her work in this specialized department, she has contributed to the diagnosis, management, and treatment of complex retinal and vitreoretinal conditions, providing skilled care to patients requiring advanced ophthalmic evaluation and intervention.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Vardanyan possesses profound knowledge of Nursing Fundamentals and clinical skills instruction, developed through her experience teaching hundreds of students. Her advanced international training through ESASO and an ESO-grant observership at Hospital San Raffaele in Milan further strengthened her expertise in surgical retina and reflects her commitment to high standards of modern ophthalmic practice.
