Message from the President

The Armenian College of Nursing & Health Sciences was founded with a clear and deliberate purpose: to elevate nursing education through academic rigor, clinical discipline, and structured institutional governance. In an era where healthcare systems demand both competence and accountability, nursing education must be grounded in measurable standards, ethical responsibility, and evidence-based practice.

At ACNHS, our commitment extends beyond classroom instruction. We have built a system-based curriculum that integrates scientific knowledge, simulation-based training, supervised clinical practice, and professional development. Every component of our academic structure is designed to support clinical judgment, patient safety, and long-term professional readiness.

We recognize that modern nursing operates within a global context. Regulatory frameworks, licensure requirements, and healthcare standards continue to evolve across jurisdictions. Our institutional philosophy therefore emphasizes transparency, regulatory awareness, and academic integrity. By maintaining structured governance and clear progression standards, we aim to prepare graduates who are capable of meeting professional expectations wherever they choose to serve.

The responsibility of educating future nurses is one that we approach with seriousness and discipline. Our faculty, administrators, and institutional leadership remain dedicated to ensuring that students receive an education defined not by convenience, but by quality and professional accountability.

As President, I remain committed to strengthening the College's academic foundations, advancing clinical excellence, and fostering institutional credibility both locally and internationally. At the heart of this work is a simple conviction: that every student who walks through our doors deserves a genuine education — one that prepares them not just to pass an examination, but to serve patients with competence, compassion, and professional dignity. Our mission is not only to educate, but to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of the nursing profession and to the communities it serves.

Institutional Governance

The Armenian College of Nursing & Health Sciences operates in full accordance with the educational laws and regulatory framework of the Republic of Armenia. The College holds ministry-level certification and functions in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework established by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. All academic programs, curricula, and institutional policies are developed and maintained in compliance with applicable national standards and established international best practices in nursing education.

Academic governance at ACNHS is structured to ensure institutional accountability at every level. The Office of the President maintains responsibility for institutional strategy, regulatory compliance, and long-term academic planning. Faculty governance structures provide oversight of curriculum standards, academic policy, and assessment integrity. Clinical affiliate oversight ensures that supervised practice environments meet documented competency and patient safety requirements.

The College's commitment to regulatory compliance and governance transparency is foundational to its academic identity. ACNHS maintains formal documentation of its governance structure, institutional policies, and academic standards, which are available to prospective students, professional evaluators, and institutional partners upon request. This commitment reflects the College's ongoing effort to meet the evaluation requirements of international academic and credentialing bodies.
